Notifications
Get told when an agent finishes or waits for you.
Notifications are off by default. Turn them on in Settings → Notifications.
When CodeHerd notifies you
- An agent finished: its session exited, crashed or was stopped.
- An agent seems to be waiting for you: it printed output and then went quiet for a while (20 seconds by default). Most agents stop and wait when they need an answer or have finished a task.
CodeHerd only notifies you about sessions you aren't looking at: if CodeHerd is in front and the pane is visible, there is no notification. Clicking a notification brings you to the session.
macOS permission
The first time CodeHerd shows a notification, macOS may ask whether to allow it. You can change this later in System Settings → Notifications → CodeHerd.
